Designed in Sweden and manufactured in the USA from high-grade stainless steel, FreeKey rings eliminate the always challenging operation of a traditional key ring by opening with the simple press of the ring. Featuring a brilliant and simple design FreeKey rings achieve enhanced ease of operation by introducing a strategically placed bump in one of the ring loops - essentially creating a pivot that allows the end of the ring to lift when the ring is pressed.
Freekey system includes three small group rings for organizing keys. The group rings are smart rings that organize your keys in easy to identify groups that can be conveniently removed and returned to the master ring with the press of the ring.

This key ring is super easy to work with.
I found it by luck on a website.
I will probably order more for Christmas

Best KeyRing I have Ever owned! Keys will stay on and if you want to remove one or more it is easily done. Without breaking a fingernail or any trouble. Yet my keys remain secure! Just what I've been looking for. Thank you Exotac!

Easiest, most elegant simple key ring to use. I love this because it is so easy to move the keys around to pick out the one you need and the main reason I purchased this product was because I hate the dangling noise other key chains make and this one just dangles quiescently while I drive and make turns. The material is very strong and the finish is excellent. Great product guys!

It solves the physical strain of getting keys and attachments on and off the main key ring easily, by pressing the built-in bump, you will see it easily open long enough to slide new attachments to it. I love mine and my customers love it also.

Easy to add keys, fobs or the ID tags that we carry. Thanks for the innovation.

My own customers can't get enough of them. I cannot keep them on the shelf too long. I am usually sold out of current inventory in 3-5 days. One customer bought 6, one for everyone in her family. Free at last, FreeKey at last....

Really happy with this system. Used it to replace another system and it has been great for taking keys on and off. Recommend it very highly!

In short the FREEKey System is one of the best key ring systems available.
I bought this thinking I'd replace by current key ring which is a round hub with multiple smaller rings attached via a stud with a ball at the end that slides into a channel via a spring activated stopper (similar to the Troika Keyholder model number KYR60MC). My initial hesitation was that FREEKey takes more time to remove or add keys to the hub than my current system. That said if you're not removing and adding keys multiple times a day then FREEKey is perfect. It is easy to use and works like a charm. If you have finger nails it'll save them and if you don't it's still easy to operate. FREEKey is also about 1/3 the of the hub type systems.
It never occurred to me to use only the main ring (without the smaller rings); probably because of my current key ring system, so after reading Jeff's review (29 Jan 2014)I'd definitely recommend purchasing the FREEKey System, and possibly extra accessory ring spares, instead of just the main ring and you'll love it. While the smaller rings are not designed the same as the main ring, they're more traditional, they are easier to open than a standard key ring. Once you get the key or keys on the smaller ring(s) it is pretty quick and very easy to add or remove items from the main ring.
The FREEKey system while maybe not as quick as my previous key ring system it is very good and is less bulky than the hub and ring system I previously used and mentioned above. I've had my hub key system for over fifteen years without any problems, but because of its design it's conceivable the spring could fail and make the hub useless. I don't think FREEKey would fail in one lifetime.

Saw this in Pop Mechanics and bought two. Spent forever putting keys on. Ring too wide for standard car keys. Can barely get them on and once you do they get hung-up and jammed and do not and free or slide. Terrible. They are now in the junk drawer. I am thinking about leaving them of coffee table as a conversation piece because they are very pretty. Did anyone test this thing before marketing it ?
Posted by Shani Ferguson on 27th Jan 2014
With three adults in the household and just two car keys, we are always taking them on and off our keyrings. If I had a dollar for every manicure I've ruined... well, I could at least pay for another manicure! The FREEKey is terrific.

Works really great and allows me to keep my car keys off my keychain on weekends when I rarely drive.
My only complaint is the thickness of the key ring is too thick for some small keys and plastic club cards. I solved this issue by putting both on the auxiliary ring which is a decent solution.
Posted by Unknown on 20th Jan 2014
Awesome! Probably the quickest way to transfer keys. Makes it easy to separate by use as well.

This works OK. It's way overpriced.

I like good industrial design, and I'd just managed to lose my previous keys - a perfect opportunity to search the internet for a better option. I'm pretty happy with the FreeKey system. As I ride my bike to the train station, I frequently remove my car key from the keyring - this works well

Being Active duty military whether stateside or a overseas some things you learn to value are products that tough and dependable yet also easy to use and also save space and are compact and easy to carry. This new keyring from Exotac is stellar from people on the go that need a functional and non-bulky keyring that can take abuse.

Key rings can be anything. When you drop your car off for repair you should only leave the car keys. The FREEKey System holds keys securely and with a press the ring opens up to make removal easier. I like elegant solutions; this is one of them. I highly recommend the FREEKey System -- now all I have to do is come up with a reason to buy one of Exotec's fire starters.

I *hate* carrying around my car key all day. You know, the one with all the buttons on it. So I just detach that, put it my purse, and carry the keys I need to get in and out of our buildings at work. It is *so* simple to detach one key and, when one has to do so repeatedly each day, appreciated.

I wanted a simple, well constructed and innovative designed key ring system and that is exactly what I got - at an excellent price! Before purchasing and using this product I was using a Swiss (and expensive) metal key system with a push button deployment option for my other keys. While I used that for years, it was bulky and forcing my keys to put holes into my pocket liner. I even lost the other half of my keys when I inadvertently deployed my keys while retrieving them out of my pocket -they fell into a sewer system. That is when I decided to give the Exotac FreeKey System a go. It is working flawlessly. Don't be concerned about sturdiness and durability. This is high grade and lightweight manufactured stainless steel. It is deceptively strong and durable! I will be purchasing more...not for me. Mine is great! They will make great gifts for friends and family.
Posted by Unknown on 6th Nov 2013
The product seems cheap and flimsy.
Whilst the main ring has some substance to it, the small rings seem cheap.
As for adding and removing keys, the design and function works well - as advertised.
These are my first impressions; and honest and personal opinions. Other people may have a different view.

I'm very happy that I don't have to be breaking finger nails, scraping fingers, and dropping keys all the time fighting to get one on or off a keyring. This makes it very simple to pull keys off and on. The mini-rings that your keys cluster on can be a bit difficult to work with still, but overall the larger ring makes for vastly simpler key management.

I bought a couple of FREEKeys to try them out before I bought a bunch of them for Christmas stocking stuffers. I attached my keys to FREEKey in six groups about a month ago. I went shopping yesterday and put them in my front pants pocket when I got out of the car. Later when I got home, I put my keys on the hall table but something didn't feel right. When I changed into my summer shorts, I found one of the key groups still in my pants pocket.
It had separated from the FREEKey ring!
I didn't know how well FREEKey worked but now I do: It doesn't work at all!
It is completely untrustworthy.
I could have lost keys while I was out and then had a real problem since I'm traveling and a hundred miles from home.
FREEKey may be proudly made in America but the foreign design has a major problem.

I love my FREEKey system. It's a delight to hold around my finger while twirling my keys around. I'm also able to fit quite a few things on it (several set of keys [car, bike lock, home, work], multi-purpose tool, thumb drive) and it fits nicely on my carabiner. It also looks pretty neat and is easy to use.

Incredibly easy to use, lightweight, and durable.
The only hangup is sometimes keys get hung in the main keyring. I cannot see how you would fix this though, and it is a minor concern.

Posted by Unknown on 19th Jun 2013
Going on two weeks with no troubles here, and almost daily moving keys on and off. I do recommend the system with three smaller rings, as some oddly shaped key holes may have trouble getting on the fat master ring.
Posted by Kerri on 13th Jun 2013
The FreeKey system works exactly as advertised. It's simple to use, is perfect for when I need to remove a key from the keyring (like giving a car key to the mechanic), and saves me fighting to get a key through a normal ring. Normal key rings open up over time catching in clothing or allowing keys to slip off. The FreeKey system eliminates that problem. It's a simple and elegant solution to a common problem. It may seem like a little thing, but it really does make managing a bunch of keys easier.

It's clean, easy to use, and allows my keys to lay flat in a pocket. Loved my first one so much, I bought a second and extra small rings to go on it. Great product!

The design of this product makes it so easy to modify, add or remove keys. Gone are the days of struggling to get a key into the initial ring lip or taking a single key off for a temporary handoff. I have subsets of keys on the main system. I have my house key & fob on one, my frequent buyer program cards on another and everything else on a third. It makes it SO easy to take my house key and fob off for a visitor then re-attach later.
I bought one for me and my wife commented how she liked it. So I bought a second for her. I know she loves it because it won't mess up her nails.

Was looking for a better key ring considering my girlfriend recently lost a set of keys due to, what I believe, was a bad keyring. Found these and ordered them immediately and love it. Easy on, easy off. I even went as far as to use the little rings to establish a system of only carrying keys that I need based on the situation BECAUSE keys go on and off so easily. Only downside is some keys for car ignitions fit a little snug on the A-Typical shape of the keyring itself. It was easily remedied by putting the ignition key on a smaller ring and utilizing that for key swaps.
Posted by Donovan on 29th May 2013
I bought two. The first cleaned up the spider web of keys belonging to my wife, and the second keeps the keys for her car, my emergency $20, and my 16Gb jumpdrive organized and separate from my car/house key ring.

No frills, bottle openers or chapstick. It's a great, light weight easily operated key chain. It makes it simple to have several different sets of keys that can be swapped off and on the main ring easily. I bought myself an extra set, one for my girlfriend and one for a couple buddies.

Posted by J. Miller on 2nd Feb 2013
Had bought this keyring the week it debuted. Been using it without any problems, up until yesterday... am puzzled as to why.
Have a light-weight swivel snap that attaches to my keyring. Each smaller ring has its own key(s): my car, house, and mom's car which has two keys on that ring.
Was walking out to the mailbox. Heard a ta-ting. Stopped, looked down. There's the set of Cadillac keys on the ground on the mini-ring.
Slipped it back on, and heard yet another ta-ting. My car's key & ring landed on the ground.
Looked at the smaller rings, they are not spread nor damaged. The main key ring looks like normal too.
So what could have caused two sets to just fall off?? Guess will have to go back to a split ring because if this happened in another time or place I'd of been out a set of keys - and possibly some cars too.
Posted by Unknown on 28th Jan 2013
The fatness of the ring hindered several of my keys from being able to float freely around the ring as a regular ring would do. It is a great idea but the fatness needs to be reduced. If you have a key with a small hole or weird shaped opening it probably wont work well on this. I ended up removing the three smaller rings and putting them on a regular ring. That was I can remove some keys I want and not have to have my entire ring all the time.
Posted by Unknown on 24th Jan 2013
Purchased this to make it easier to manage my keys when I travel...I usually remove my car key and l;eave the rest in the glovebox when I travel...this makes the process alot easier..
the only complaint I have is with the small rings...2 of them have bent, causing a sharp edge that is slightly annoying..the large ring which is more important, is just fine...
Posted by Maddie on 22nd Jan 2013
Makes it a lot easier to remove keys versus a standard key ring. Like how there's smaller key rings attached to the bigger one so I can separate my keys.

I decided to try the FreeKey System after reading review in Popular Mechanics. It's a simple design that works great.
Posted by Mike on 17th Jan 2013
I thought this looked like a great product. I frequently need to add and subtract keys from my keyring and thought this would be a great idea. The ring is very thick, and many of my keys had small holes in them for the keyring to fit through. As a result the keys wouldn't move freely on the keyring and/or the stuck straight out. As a result it took up way to much space in my pocket and generally caused more of problem than it solved.
I quickly took my keys off and sent it back.
If the metal of the ring was smaller it would be a great idea.
Posted by Unknown on 9th Jan 2013
It's a great and simple design. I don't have any issues with it snagging on clothing or any other loose objects.
Posted by Idaho Guy on 3rd Jan 2013
I really wanted to like the Exotac FreeKey system. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit most keys because the keychain is too wide to fit through the hole at the top of keys. And despite the fact it's much bigger overall than a regular keychain, it can't hold as many keys because of it's width and thickness.
The Freekey's width seems like a genuine design flaw because it could be made narrower. However, it's thickness is inherent to the design because it requires multiple loops and a bent or curved loop to provide the mechanism's leverage to open the ring.
Overall, I don't recommend the Freekey system. I do think it could be used to store keys in a drawer or backpack, where it's flaws are less problematic.
The Freekey might be great if it were redesigned to be narrower so that it could be used with regular keys, as well as accommodate more keys.
Posted by Unknown on 1st Jan 2013
Keys go on easy, but fit less keys then typical key ring. Keys go on easy, but has edges, while not overly sharp, still sharp to snag. Keys don't travel around the ring freely. I will not by using this item, and I will not be giving any away as gifts. Best suitable for only 2-3 keys, at that point defeats the purpose, having many keys and needed only to remove 1-2.

Save your manicure and easily add or remove keys. Change up keychains and keys easily. Remove your house key from the car key when you go to the mechanic. Usually it's too hard on my nails and just too difficult to do. This is excellent for women as well as men who want to have that well polished look.

These key rings make great stocking stuffers and gifts!! Make sure you purchase some for yourself as they work so well...especailly if you have long fingernails. Your wifes and other women in your life will thank you!!! Very useful!!
Posted by Micah B. on 4th Dec 2012
After reading a review of this in the Marine Corps times I had to purchase this for two reasons. The first is that it is a new and interesting idea (and looks better than a normal key chain) and second because it is made here in the United States. This puts money back into our economy and helps out small businesses and the American worker.
The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it is just a bit to big for some keys. The key for my Ford truck has fits but it does not move freely inside of the key hole. If the FREEKey was just a tad smaller it would be perfect.
Personally I can't wait to try another one of your products.

Love the key chain -- hate the color and texture of the material. It looks cheap and something with no gravitas whatsoever. It is as if you were going for a material that is edgy but you missed in my opinion. The design is excellent -- especially being able to remove keys as a smaller set for car repairs for example.

I have always used a carribeaner to hold multiple groups of keys together as the carribeaner provided quick and easy access to add or remove key groups as needed. Also, I can clip the carribeaner on my belt loop so as not to fill my pocket with the builk of my keyring. Unfortunately, on more than one occassion, I've managed to lose a set of keys or other item looped on my caribeaner keyring without knowing it. When hooking or unhooking it from my belt loop a set of keys would slide out while opening to put it on or take it off my belt loop. This is a problem of the past thanks to the Exotac FreeKey System.
My new setup uses the Exotack FreeKey System as the main ring for all my key groups and provides simple and easy access to remove or add keys or keygroups without being concerned they will slide off without me knowing it. The best part is when I do need to remove or add to the ring, the effort is minimal. I still use the carribeaner to attach the main ring to my belt loop when the keys are not in use, but now there is only one keyring to worry about attaching.
Overall my only complaint is that I didn't find this key system sooner. Thanks for a wonderful, secure, and innovative product that is very easy to use!

Posted by Unknown on 26th Oct 2012
Main ring is a bit large for comfortable pocket carry, especially when carrying more than a few keys. Keys will fit onto the main ring without the smaller linking rings, however, the width of the main ring does prevent even standard keys from rotating freely.
I'd rather use a standard split ring with a set of fisherman's pliers.
Posted by Unknown on 24th Oct 2012
The design concept is really cool for this keychain but I felt like it was a little cheap in the way it felt. I expected something more polished. Not bad for the money though. The keys are also kind of tough to put on the small rings.

Unique product, had me excited. I agree it is a bit wider and thicker than expected, but not a deal breaker. If you have to switch out/add keys more than a few times, this is the product for you. I wish the metal was more polished rather than brushed. Of note, this feels lighter that the traditional key rings. I expect my Christmas list will be full of this product to give out. Price is very reasonable, and made in USA--what is better than that? (oh stainless steel, thanks for not going with a cheap metal)

I'm always reluctant to purchase a product online that I haven't been able to test first. I'm very impresssed with the simplicity and at how flat my keys now lay. I'm ordering more for Christmas stocking stuffers!

Great if u have keychain with lots off keys and some accessories. Perfecto for running joust pop out your key set and go.
Posted by David on 12th Oct 2012
I bought my rings a couple of weeks ago and found out quickly that they keys will fall off easiy.
Now, I have to check my key ring often to make sure no keys are missing.
I will probably go back to my old key ring because even if it is harder to get the keys on there, at least, they never fall off.
I would not buy one of these again.

product works as promised. company response and shipping excellent.

Works as advertised, allowing easy attachment or removal of keys. Made in USA, how unique.

Works as described and fast shipping!

With a mere push and slide the keys were on. It took more time to get them off the old ring than to organize and put them on the new system. Thanks for having it available to us>
Posted by Unknown on 3rd Oct 2012
Quick delivery on a great product. Easy to slide on your keys and the smaller rings really help to organize keys for different locations.
Posted by Noden. on 3rd Oct 2012
Love the mechanism and simplicity however I find it a little thick compared to all other existing keyrings I use. If it was 1mm slimmer it would be perfect for putting smaller keys directly on the keyring, instead of having to use the separate holder rings.
Posted by NipomoJoe on 3rd Oct 2012
Fortunately I bought 4 sets, so I have a ready supply of extra rings. It fits in my pants pocket better than any other...and I include a pocket knife/USB stick as well as a fairly large car remote. I really like that my office and home keys are on separate small rings. I'm making one set for every car, to minimize the bulk.

Seems good and convenient.

The website made the key chain look cool, but photos don't show the shortcoming of the keychain. The trick that makes it open easy also is the big problem. It would catch on threads or anything.
I wouldn't have reviewed it but you asked me to.
[Note from Exotac: Thanks for the review Peter as we value all of the feedback we receive. We're sorry you won't give the FREEKey a chance as we feel you're missing out on a great innovation. We have not had any problems with ours and every employee at Exotac carries at least one daily. Please contact us and we'll be happy to exchange or process a return for you.]

I bought 4 of these and gave away 3 of them to friends. They love it. It's easy to use. I'm going to order some more, they make great little gifts.
Posted by Ed P. in WI on 2nd Oct 2012
Not only do they work as advertised; no more broken fingernails, but they look good on my keychain. I like being able to separate different keys, i.e. home keys and auto keys, onto different smaller rings. Great product!
Posted by Nate A. on 2nd Oct 2012
I regularly have to take individual keys off my key chain. I had not found a good solution until I found the FREEKey system. The rings are strong and solid. I like how the rings are flat because they lay flatter in my pockets. However, some keys would not fit directly on the large ring because the width of the flat part. Because of this, it would have been nice to have 1-2 additional small rings. 3 rings is a good start, but I kind of wish I had more. Or I wish they would allow you to add on 3 additional small rings when you purchase the ring set. Regardless, I made it work and know I will enjoy the convenience of this key ring for years to come.

I'm always breaking nails trying to get keys on and off. And other "easy release" keychains start releasing a little too easily (e.g. when I don't want them too). This is the best keychain I've ever used.

Iwas having trouble losing keys. Iwas using a carabiner and needed something more secure. I have keys to my brother's, mother's, son's, daughter's home's plus keys for 3 cars. So, I'm constantly swapping out keys, so this new key ring works perfectly for my needs.
Posted by John on 1st Oct 2012
Very easy to use. Even the ladies can use it.
Posted by Unknown on 1st Oct 2012
slim, efficient design and the keys do not fall off.
Posted by Unknown on 1st Oct 2012
Very light and much smaller than my previous keychain. Very easy to add and remove keys- so easy that I'm a bit concerned that keys may accidentally slip off. Time will tell. The system could have included more smaller key rings- only 3 were provided. For now, no problems and I am satisfied.
Posted by Unknown on 1st Oct 2012
The FREEKey System is as good as advertised but it doesn't fit my needs because it is too big to fit in the hole for my detachable key system that allows me to easily detach my car key from the rest of them. Also, there should be more of the smaller keys.

I saw this item in a magazine featuring new products and ordered some. They work great and beat the heck out of a standard key ring. I'm gonna use 'em for stocking stuffer gifts this Christmas.
Posted by Unknown on 1st Oct 2012
I've turned into the odd guy showing off my key ring to my friends... Amazing product.
Posted by Unknown on 1st Oct 2012
The free key system works well. Since I am always switching cars amongst family memebers it makes sharing keys, and keeping tabs on my gym access card much less of a chore. You do have to be sure that you rotate the satellite rings around enough until it is securely inside the main ring.
Posted by Nino Arzon on 1st Oct 2012
Great idea, simple, elegant, and useful for those who don't have to carry all of their keys all of the time. This is going to be a great stocking stuffer. Thanks ...

Smart product, very useful, and easy to use.
Posted by Rob on 18th Sep 2012
The freekey link is efficient, sturdy, and exactly as promised. For the price nothing beats it.
Posted by Unknown on 12th Sep 2012
I just received this and cant help showing to everyone as to how great this little keychain really is..
Posted by Dennis Brooks on 10th Sep 2012
I love how easy it is to open the main ring. Revenue the small rings are easier. I hooked two sets together in order to hold my keys. Light weight and high quality.
Posted by Hugo on 10th Sep 2012
The design of the keyring is simple and elegant, and the function follows form in ease of use. As someone who suffers from tendonitis the simple press down to add or remove keys is great. Keep up the good work! The only suggestion I would add is to be able to purchase the smaller rings (to add to the three that came with my purchase) or to have more (five seems reasonable) come with the initial purchase.

No exaggerated claims here. No pain or broken fingernails. Simple design makes an easy task of organizing keys on a ring. Simple, elegant design. It's about time that the key ring evolved into this century.

I fount the free key system to be exactly what was advertised - innovative, but simple.
Posted by Jon Paul on 3rd Sep 2012
I've really enjoyed using this product. It is a great design and seems to be made well and will hold up for quite awhile. It is very useful since I don't like carrying all my keys into gym or work and this gives me the flexibility to quickly disconnect my car key to make my pocket less bulky. I agree with a previous poster that there should 5 small rings instead of 3. One thing I don't understand is why shipping is so expensive? This item could be put in an envelope and sent off with a $.42 stamp no problem at all. Shipping should be free considering the premium price, I'll consider buying several as Christmas gifts for friends or family if they can discount shipping and come up with some bulk pricing. Overall I'm very satisfied and will probably be buying more in the future.

This is a great way to organize keys into groups. You can remove a ring of keys you do not need for various trips. The rings are easy to remove.
Posted by Unknown on 1st Sep 2012
A superior replacement over my set of key rings. Only beef I have is that the flat (and wide) rings makes inserting some keys through a little rough. Some of my keys have smaller holes for the rings to loop through.
Posted by Unknown on 27th Aug 2012
Love the ring. Could use 5 smaller rings as standard supply instead of just 3. Great product
Posted by Aaron Haines on 23rd Aug 2012
Great simple idea, if you have to give out a key occasionally this little invention is great. I really like the smaller group rings which allows me to organize my keys better. Car keys and remote on one group ring, House and Deadbolt on another, Mail and Laundry room on the third.
I do wish they sold the smaller group rings individually. They really turn a simply key ring into a system!

Posted by Unknown on 22nd Aug 2012
I have had several different multi keyrings over the years and this one is the BEST!! Ease of use is great. I got two because I knew my wife would see it and want one. For once I was right!
Posted by joe on 20th Aug 2012
this key ring is great! it is a little large for me. however after transferring the smaller rings to the other freekey, it workes perfectly.
Posted by DEMojica on 20th Aug 2012
I hate a FAT set of keys in my rear pocket. Sure adding and removing keys is the main purpose. But, I had a feeling that the key set will take very little thickness while in my back pocket. I was correct. How I'm looking all over the house for my keys, while they are in my pocket, cause I can't feel them. But, it's a good problem.
Posted by GadgetGuru on 20th Aug 2012
Having broken numerous fingernails over the years while trying to get keys on & off key rings, I was anxious to see if my $7 investment in FREEKey would be worth it.
Bottom Line: It is an improvement but the width of the new ring still makes it somewhat difficult to use when trying to add keys with narrower/smaller holes.
Posted by Chris Hluzek on 14th Aug 2012
Great product, keeps my keys separated and silent. i replaced my old keyring with the [Freekey] system and my keys lay flat in my pocket. Highly recommended!
Posted by Tommy Overton on 13th Aug 2012
Taking your keys or whatever off your key ring is very easy with the FREEKey system. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the smaller rings do add a little clutter, but work better than placing my keys directly on the main ring. It would be nice if the main ring was thinner, but I'll be buying more of them.
Posted by Unknown on 11th Aug 2012
This key ring works great. I've been using it for over a week with no keys falling out and I can take keys in/out of the ring with simple ease. Ingenius!
Posted by Allan Patrick on 9th Aug 2012
The ring is well designed. The smaller individual rings do not have the same feature, and I'm a little disappointed in that.

Posted by Kinetic-Tactical on 6th Aug 2012
I know some people are thinking it's a key ring how can it be that great, but it is. It is worth the money hands down. Only complaint is I wish you could buy more of the smaller rings but that is a very minor complaint if a complaint at all. I am super glad I heard about this key ring from itstactical.com and bought one. This is really a great product.
Posted by Unknown on 6th Aug 2012
Exactly as they claim.
Posted by Kevin on 6th Aug 2012
I change my key ring assortment on a regular basis. The FREEKey System makes it a snap!! If a person changes their key ring occasionally, it's a must have!! It's ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!! I have several EXOTAC products & all of them are OUTSTANDING!! You can't go wrong with EXOTAC!! This is my opinion.
Posted by Mike Garske on 2nd Aug 2012
I saw this new twist on keyrings in Popular Science and just had to have it! Order two sets, one for me and one for my wife, needless to say we love it and tell everyone that we can about it...thanks for carrying these on your website!
Posted by Chris on 2nd Aug 2012
Impressive concept and a great design that delivers. Great for keeping my EDC keychain in order. It also proved very effective recently when I had to valet park my car. Separating my car key from the rest of the heap was a breeze. The little rings are essential though. My bulky Subaru key did not hang freely on the Free ring by itself without the smaller rings.
Other than that, Great product that will save you time and thumbnails. Be prepared for the "where did you get that?" questions!!
Posted by Frankie on 1st Aug 2012
I like carry only essential keys, but that still means I keep about 6 or so on me. This has helped me to logically group them while maintaining a slim profile. It is also so easy to take keys off the key ring. Look forward to ordering a few more as gifts for the holidays.
Posted by Dustin on 1st Aug 2012
I really like this product, but EXOTAC really needs to sell the smaller rings separately. I had to buy two (2) complete units just to get enough small rings for my purposes.
Posted by Tiger74 on 31st Jul 2012
this product replaced aa more bulky system to keep all my sets of keys together and is by far much easier to use and slimmer.I was able to downsize with ease. I be buying more!
Posted by Unknown on 31st Jul 2012
Does e exactly what it says, and very very well
Posted by Ray C. on 31st Jul 2012
I was desperate to find a better way to organize all my keys. Sucks to go key-by-key in the dark trying to find that one key. Freekey eliminated that. Using the small rings to organize makes it easy to find the key you want. Transferring 12 keys took about 2 minutes.
Posted by Andy on 31st Jul 2012
This system is easy to use. No more will you have to get your knife out to pry open the key ring or bend back your finger nails trying to get a key in. The key chain is also very light and durable. If for whatever reason you have to add or take off a key while wearing gloves you should be fine. What would be really great if you guys figured out a way to have a clip for the one key you need to take off all the time.
Posted by Waykno on 31st Jul 2012
This will certainly save a fingernail or two. Just press and begin inserting key rings or keys.

As with all of the other products I have purchased from Exotac (I also own a nanoSTRIKER and a MATCHCAP) - I love the FREEKey System. I can't wait to see what they come up with next!
Posted by Paul on 17th Jul 2012
I have only owned the Freekey system for a short while now, but I am constantly switching out keys on my key ring, and I absolutely love it. Makes my life a lot easier, very quick and simple to remove or add keys from your ring. At first I was concerned it might not last long, but after looking closely at it and using it for a while it appears very well-made and I have a feeling it will be around for a while. I can't really emphasize how nice it is to be able to remove or add keys and other items to my ring easily, so I'll just say buy one, and find out for yourself. It may seem like a somewhat trivial piece of gear but it's one of those things where you don't know how you went without it once you have it.

I make my living as an inventor of simple to complicated devices, systems and methods. FREEKey is one of those inventions that, doing what I do, I appreciate for its obviousness (after the fact), elegant simplicity and the problem it solves
Posted by R.MCKENZIE on 6th Jul 2012
WORKS GREAT.EASY TO USE.I HAVE TOO MANY TO KEEP UP WITH AS IT IS AND THE FREE KEY REALLY MAKES IT EASIER.
Posted by Unknown on 5th Jul 2012
usually i have to take my key off my edc kit if i go for a run or something, this makes it SO MUCH EASIER. and it is more functional when using the keys, because the tiny rings are the perfect size for compactness and utility of reach. also i think EXOTAC should make an edc pen, because products are WAY lacking in this department, and they're stuff ROCKS!

Simple, effective, sturdy, and kind of stylish at the same time! This is a great way to organize your keys. I am going to order a few for friends & family. Really love this thing.
Posted by Robert on 26th Jun 2012
This is a great system that is lightweight and easy to use. However, I wanted to get more of the small rings and have received no response from Exotac. Why have the contact tab on your site if you don't respond to it?
Posted by Mitch on 25th Jun 2012
Love the ease by which keys and other items are added and deleted using this system. Using the small rings does actually make for a "larger" bundle, but if you need to take things off frequently, the large + small rings make this easy. So far, very happy.
Posted by Unknown on 22nd Jun 2012
I love this product. Everytime I change keys on standard keyrings I split my nails and vow I will never change keyrings again. This makes it so much easier by opening it for you and I love that.
Posted by uRwhatUr on 20th Jun 2012
A bit disappointed as this won't work with my 2006 Honda Accord and 2007 Honda Odyssey keys which are large and have remotes. I like the design and organizational feature of the extra rings, but I don't think I will buy another.
