EVOLUTION

We created an evolutionary derivative of the original nanoSTRIKER™ with a larger rod and striker handle. It utilizes the same innovative design as the original, but with just enough extra size and heft to improve its ease of use without making it too big or bulky for key chain carry.

RESULT

The striker handle is 46% bigger, making it easier to grip. The XL version also sports a 33% larger ferrocerium rod, which improves the durability and lifespan of the rod even beyond that of the original nanoSTIKER’s.

TIPS

Slowly scrape shavings off the rod into a small pile. Use these shavings on top of your tinder bundle for even better sparks!
Use the nanoSTRIKER™ to light gas stoves, alcohol stoves, fuel tablets, BBQ grills, etc.

This is hands down one of the easiest fire-steel to use. I was packing for a trip and wanted to test it out new, and had a fire going with the packaging it came in, in less that 3 minutes. This is going into my camping pack for every trip from now on!

This will replace any fire steel you might have already. Easy to use, produces showers of hot flaming bits of metal, ignites tinder super quickly. Weighs very little, takes up almost NO space. Beautifully made, watertight, rugged. Just the ultimate fire starter - the last one you may ever buy. Although you might want two, they are so nice! If you love fine gear, this is a must have.

Hardcore product, with excellent attention to detail. The increased diameter is an excellent upgrade over the original nanoSTRIKER.
