FERROCERIUM

Our fire starting tools utilize a proprietary alloy of rare earth metals called ferrocerium. Some of these metals include Iron, Cerium and Magnesium. When a ferrocerium rod is rapidly scraped, the friction created ignites the shavings producing molten globulars of burning metal. It is these long-burning molten globulars of metal that make a ferrocerium fire starter so effective at catching other materials afire.

REPLACEMENT

To replace an old rod, simply unscrew the rod and screw in the new rod. Ensure the rod is a snug fit into the rod holder. An optional drop of blue or purple loctite will help retain the rod if it becomes loose.

1/4" Threaded ferrocerium rod (1 pc)
Replacement O-rings (2 pcs)

The nano strikers are the best fire starters ever made, and one of the best things are that they have Refill Kits and they are waterproof. They are very well made and there costumer service is very helpfull. I would recommend these to everyone.
The BEST firestarter I've seen in YEARS!!!!

Wow, I freakin love this thing! I try new and different "firestarters" from time to time, especially when I'm about to take an outdoor trip. I picked this up cuz I hadn't seen it before ... and I was really surprised how strong the spark was, at how hot the sparks were, and how fast it lit almost anything I put in front of it!
The refill kit is a cinch to replace and works just as fast and efficient as the original.
I love this thing and wont go outdoors without it!!
