Reloading Instructions

Inspect your MARCO Dispenser for any damage or cracking and ensure smooth function of the follower – similar to an M4 magazine.
Clean any debris from the MARCO Dispenser
Tear off the top of the MARCO Refill Kit and open the press seal
Carefully load the chem light through the hole at the top of the MARCO Dispenser and gently press the light stick below the MARCO Dispenser feed lips.
Continue loading the light sticks into the MARCO Dispenser by pushing down the loaded lights careful not to bend the current light stick or rupture the light stick in the Dispenser.
When completed loading, gently shake the MARCO Dispenser to ensure the chem lights are secure and not rattling around.
Examine the loaded MARCO Dispenser in a dark room, in a pouch, or under your shirt checking for any glow indicating an activated light.

Storage

The MARCO Training Light Refill Pack should be kept in a cool, dry location out of direct sun light and sealed in the zip top bag. The light sticks start to degrade from UV light so keep this in mind while using your MARCO Light Stick Dispenser.

What is the burn time?

Four Hours at maximum output. The Marking Sticks will continue to put out a gradually diminishing amount of light for hours or even days afterwards.

How much does it weigh?

A fully loaded MARCO Dispenser weighs 3.9oz. The Ten-Speed Belt Hanger pouch weighs 1.3oz.

Once opened, how long will they last?

The 2 inch marking sticks will begin degrading the moment the foil bag is opened. Multiple environmental factors make it impossible to give an exact estimate on how long they will maintain maximum efficacy after opening. Things like extreme heat, extreme cold, and exposure to UV light will further shorten their life-span.

What is the shelf life?

Each bag, box, and case is marked with the 'Expires on' date. From the day they are manufactured, the MARCO marking sticks have a guaranteed 4 year shelf life if stored according to manufacturer guidelines.

Are they toxic?

The internal illuminating chemical substance is non-toxic and non-flammable. It is possible that exposure to the chemicals could be a mild irritant for some individuals.

Will they break open if you step on them?

It is highly unlikely that the sticks will burst when stepped on.

Safety
Tie the MARCO lights onto your tent lines staked into the ground so you can make sure you do not trip on them during the night.
